Calvin Bennett and Ken Olsen founded Bennett Building Systems, Inc. in 1993. Based in Burleson, the company worked in commercial construction and pre-engineered metal buildings.
Its work brought together general contracting, architectural and engineering design, site work and building construction. Burleson and Johnson County remain an important part of that history.
The company closed in 2020 because of complications related to COVID-19. The Bennett name is presented here as a historical business, not an operating contractor accepting new work.
